• PURPOSE

    Why was MPC established?

    For over thirty years, I have represented employers and employees in various matters involving harassment/sexual harassment, bullying, and many different forms of discrimination. In recent years, there has been a rise in the number of friends (and friends of friends) who have sought my help and representation - and also the number of organisations seeking assistance. So the purpose is to play a more formal role in helping to eradicate the above scourges from the workplace either by assisting with their prevention via education and counsel; and/or recourse for those who have experienced any of the above.

    The expectations of ourselves & others

    I often hear 'treat others as you would want to be treated'. I personally just don’t think this is good enough – as it causes the benchmark to be too low as we invariably have thicker skin and would generally accept a great deal more when referring to ourselves. However, if we were to say “treat others as you would want your loved ones treated” then I would assert our standards and expectations would be much higher and of a far more caring nature. This is the benchmark I tried to use in all of my dealings and decisions – professionally and personally - and will apply to Milano People Consultancy at all times.
  • DEDICATION – For whom is this business enterprise established?

    For all of those who have been subjected to various forms of harassment, discrimination and bullying. I grew up watching my peasant immigrant parents exploited and subjected to all of the above. I was abused, bullied, bashed and spat on because my name ended in a vowel and I was different from others. My wife harassed because of her looks, accent and nationality. My children for being different and having a disability or being related to somebody with a disability. However, in line with ‘OUR BENCHMARK’ it is for my loved ones and others’ loved ones to whom I dedicate this enterprise.
  • ENDORSEMENTS – What can people expect/have others said

    I generally do not ask individual clients to post any comments in relation to their experience with me (although several wanted to do so for closure). However, some of my former clients have graciously volunteered to be contactable as support for those undertaking action against those that may have harmed etc – this includes my wife Katja. My first priority is for any complainant or individual(s) who are suffering and providing due care and consideration for their wellbeing. My many experiences/cases have provided me with the empathy and due care for such situations. I have been told this is the main reason many prefer to use me rather than legal firms. Your care is the Number one priority throughout. As for organisational experiences, references can be provided based upon service requested.
